Taqueria La Piñata is rated 4.7 out of 5 stars, based on 42 reviews!
Good Mexican food. Everything I’ve tried so far has been delicious. The chips and salsa are good. They also have other sauces and some have a real kick.
Fajitas, the tacos you build yourself. The combo fajitas with a side of queso can soothe anyone's hunger, and then surpass what is needed.
La Pinata has been open for for awhile and it just keeps getting better. Almost every visit, the owner greets each table ensuring that the visit is as expected. I haven't been let down yet.
Great salsa selection! The chicken tamale and chicken taco I had was very fresh! The meat was not greasy like other locations. Service was great and the staff was super friendly. I've found my new favorite local Mexican restaurant. I highly recommend!!!
Super friendly people - the manager and two others came to our table and spoke to us. My burrito was the largest I've ever seen. The calamari was excellent - crunchy and refreshing with ranch sauce and cucumber slices. My wife raved about her shrimp chimichanga. Very reasonable beer prices.
Menu online please
Great Place! Have been there many times and it never disappoints. Full bar is nice, they have Karaoke and Dancing on the weekends too!! My favorite meal would have to be the Carnitas tacos and their Salsas (Taco and Chip salsa!) very delicious. My wife is more of a carne asada taco/ sopes fan.
You need an online menu, with door dash Uber eats delivery.. carryout please
I just ate here with my son and nephew. This place is legit. The service was fantastic and the environment was clean and decorated tastefully. Beef quesadillas very good. Tamales very good. Asada and Pastor tacos very good. We will be back to try the rest of the menu!
VERY good food and service. Everyone is very friendly 10/10
Food was very good and staff friendly. I had the fajitas and wife had burrito. Both were delicious. We will definitely be back.
Nice clean spot.
Great family service.
Wonderful food output that made another spot in the past. Has full bar as well.
Really good Mexican fare. Tacos and Tamales are very well seasoned with unique flavors. Truly authentic. Will be back.
Place is awesome when it comes to the menu and pricing. Space was Danny's Italian Grill before. Food portions are generous , 2 tacos traditional style corn tortillas and meat of your choice with onions and cilantro filled me up I highly recommend trying this place!!
Your typical taco joint in Fort Wayne. Good food for a low price and they're open late! Perfect for an after work dinner. The cashier also told us they do karaoke late at night. All the servers and staff were super nice and would consistently check on our table.
Didn't have the highest expectations but was pleasantly surprised. Loved the green salsa and food was fresh and hot. Prices very reasonable.
Food is great. The tripa is probably the best I've had in Fort Wayne. The staff are nice and very attentive. Highly recommend this spot if your on this side of town already
Food was very good. They are a little slow, however they just opened 2 days ago. I am glad they are part of the neighborhood and wish them great success.
I had tortas asada but feel like they can put a bit more meat into it. Overall, service deserve 5 stars
One of the most consistent Mexican restaurants in Fort Wayne. They also have late hours, varied seating, a full bar, and lots of options if you want to cobble a bunch of side dishes into a yummy meal. One of these days I'll order a normal entree.
I usually go with a couple tacos, a tamale, and some guac and chips, and one of the bottled sodas. So far, when I bring groups here, no complaints.
This is a great place to eat at a somewhat not great location, where Danny's Italian Grill used to be, yet I don't see it in Yelp when I have the map set to North Clinton. At least they get more word of mouth and stay busier than Danny's did.
Very friendly staff too. My only complaint would be about some of the karaoke noise, but I guess that would be on a couple of the singers, not the business, lol.
My goal for 2019 was to visit 2 new spots a month for review. I've failed miserably, thus far, but don't count me out.... I hit the lotto here and my zest and vigor for reviews has been restored.
I visited La Pinata for a quick "DUNCH"- that weird time between lunch and dinner, as my children say. The restaurant was quiet and extremely extremely clean. The TV's were on, but not obnoxiously loud. Seating is not open, there is a sign alerting customers to wait to be seated.
I was greeted immediately upon entry. I requested a take out order of 2 tacos and chips and salsa. While waiting for my order, I did a walk around of the restaurant. It's very clean, orderly, and laid out well. There is plenty of leg and walkway room. I appreciate that in a space, no twisting sideways to get through to a table.
My tacos were excellent, great flavor, full of meat, and just as ordered. I also appreciated that my tacos were served with slices of like, what a nice touch. The real hero of this visit was the chips and salsa. The chips were fried fresh and hand cut. Each chip was unique, not uniform like out of a bag. They were crisp and not salty. The salsa was good, not excellent but very good. The crispness and freshness of the chips made the flavor really pop.
Parking is easy there is an open lot outside of the restaurant.
I had a great visit here. I will return.
Great small restaurant never too busy service is outstanding. They have above par customer service and great food. One of the best restaurants in town
My wife and I ate there for the first time today. The service was good and the food was terrific. It's one of those times when I thought I would take half of it home for later, looked down, and realized I had eaten the whole thing. Extra points for no blaring music or blasting televisions. Thanks, we'll be back and recommend it.
Never dined in here, but carry out is always fast and fresh. Love the steak street style tacos. Good portions and flavor.
Service was super fast, food came out hot and fresh and tasted great! Chips and sauce are great too... try the green tomatillo sauce they serve along side the traditional red sauce. My niece and I loved it! I ordered a carnitas burrito... it was huge and i couldn't finish it. Prices are really decent. For two meals and water to drink, our bill was $15. I do recommend you try this place if you haven't done so yet!
Best Tacos in town, live in the opposite side of town but it’s worth the trip for sure. Selections are authentic Mexican street food and the selection/variety is great.
Time and time again I find myself returning to La Pinata for their pork tacos. It's a good experience most of the time but they do occasionally mess the order up (maybe do to miscommunication). But in the end I'm always satisfied with my taco.
The food was really good the waiters are friendly this place is very family friendly because the bar is not even noticable from the seats so it was PERFECT
seriously good. very affordable. worth a visit.
Wow! The food was outstanding and the prices were great. Everything we ordered was big and full. True Mexican food !
It was pretty good. Fairly inexpensive. A nice place, good food.
Very nice. We will be going back. Outside is very deceiving because the inside is very beautiful and Roomy.
A new must go to! Great food, clean fun and inviting. Awesome service and very accommodating. Karaoke and food. Drink specials and awesome menu choices. Thanks ?
Great food at a great price! Lots of variety and great wait staff!
Great Authentic Mexican food , for those foodies that are always looking for great tasting local restaurants the staff is very friendly courteous and Taqueria La Pinata is very clean , and family friendly and for large families they can accommodate
Excellent food and service. If you like good Mexican food try this place. Different, in a good way, from most restaurants in the area. Dont expect the usual menu!
Staff is always friendly, service is quick, and the food is fantastic! Best taco joint in town
Food is great, had shrimp Fajitas they were delicious. This restaurant is a family friendly great addition to Washington square on North Clinton.
We have been here a few times for dining in and carry out. Tonight we came here for my husband’s birthday. I made a reservation for our group of 15 in advance. They called me earlier that day to ask if we wanted the bar or dining room and to ask if it was for a birthday. They set up tables and decorated the tables with balloons and birthday tablecloths! It was so cute! The food is amazing, especially the chips and salsa. The green verde sauce is bomb! My go to are the tacos. For my husband’s birthday, the owner brought out a huge bottle of tequila and gave him a free snake bite shot and then my brother shouted “uno mas” (one more) and the owner gave him a second free tequila shot. Our friends loved it. It used to be an Italian place and they still have the Roman Coliseum on the window outside. It’s so cute inside. The dining area is well lit and the bar has lots of TV’s. It’s not been super busy when I’ve gone and the hostesses and waitresses are very nice! It’s also very clean. We will be back!
Everything was fantastic! Food, service, margaritas, all amazing. Best (authentic) Mexican in Fort Wayne (of those I've tried).
Coming from Chicago I have spent the last 2 years here looking for my “spot”. This place is it. The shrimp, al pastor tacos and the chicken fajitas are great. When the wife left town for a few days I ate here every night with no regrets.
Great Food! Excellent Service! 5 stars for sure. This is our new favorite in town. Be sure to check it out!
